Have just completed another Oscar Wilde illustration for 'The Model Millionaire'. I'm not too pleased with the results of this one, feels a little bit dry. I'm keen to try various different techniques - as these illustrations aren't for anything in particular and just see it through, whether I like the outcome or not. Wanna be a tad more dynamic with the next attempt.
This is a sketch for an illustration I want to produce. At the moment just a copy of the image on the Sovereign coin, I'd like to re-interpret it somehow. That guy's got a massive head as well. we'll see where that goes. Nice to be taking some time to develop some work, should be done as regularly as possible.
